“heirloom” agrees to sell on consignment, the items listed on the inventory sheet supplied by the undersigned artist. Additional sheets may be incorporated into this agreement if signed by both parties.
The artist’s work will remain on consignment with “heirloom” for a minimum of 30 days. At the end of 30 days “heirloom” reserves the right to either a) keep the artist's unsold merchandise on consignment for an additional 30 days or b) return any unsold merchandise to the artist.
“heirloom” reserves the right to remove work for whatever reason it may choose. “heirloom” will give 2 weeks notice to artist, discussing the removal of artwork or possible price reduction. The artist may remove artwork with 2 weeks notice to “heirloom” at any time. Artists may not remove work for the purpose of working an outside event with the intent of returning items to the store.
Payment will be made available to the artist the beginning of each month. “heirloom” will provide a list of what sold during the month along with payment. Please replace inventory no later than when you pick up your next check. If payment to the artist amounts to less than $20.00, payment will automatically roll over to the next months pay cycle.
Inventory updates will be made upon artists request.
“heirloom” will do its best to promote, display and sell your work. You as the artist agree to keep “heirloom” supplied with artwork.
“heirloom” is responsible for all CA state sales tax on the behalf of the artist for work sold at “heirloom.”
“heirloom” will not provide insurance for any artwork regardless of price or nature of work. Insurance is the sole responsibility of the artist.
